A mortise lock provides the highest level of security for residential main doors, offering a multi-point locking mechanism that is far stronger than any surface-mounted alternative. We stock mortise lock sets in two styles: on-rose (lever handle mounted on a circular rose — a clean, classic look) and on-plate (lever handle on a rectangular backplate — a more formal, architectural finish). Both styles are available in a range of finishes including Satin Stainless Steel, Antique Brass, PVD Gold, PVD Rose Gold and Matte Black to match your door hardware scheme. Our mortise locks are compatible with the standard 65mm backset used in Indian wooden doors. Order online with delivery across India.
Types of Mortise Locks
Different mortise locks suit different door styles and applications. Choosing the right option depends on the door type, hardware design, and everyday usage.
On-Rose Mortise Locks
On-rose mortise locks feature handles mounted on separate circular roses. They create a clean and modern appearance and suit contemporary interiors.
On-Plate Mortise Locks
On-plate mortise locks combine the handle and keyhole on a single backplate. They remain a popular choice for wooden doors in homes and offices.
Cylinder Mortise Locks
