Hettich Hinges, Channels and Kitchen Fittings
Hettich is a German cabinet-hardware maker. Carpenters and designers name it more often than any other brand on Indian modular kitchen drawings. We stock 14 Hettich lines, from ₹320 to ₹24,214. Also, we despatch from Delhi across India.
Hettich hinges price
Sensys is the soft-close range, and Hettich makes it in Germany. First, the standard full and half overlay pack costs ₹898. For thick doors up to 43 mm, the price rises to ₹1,058. The 90-degree Sensys 8639i costs ₹1,349, while the 8657i corner hinge costs ₹1,299. Onsys, the two-way-adjustment soft-close hinge, costs ₹450. Finally, plain ball-bearing butt hinges start at ₹320.
Hettich drawer channels and box systems
Telescopic channels start low. The KA 5632 normal close costs ₹345, while the KA 4732 soft close costs ₹640. Above those sits the Quadro V6 full-extension undermount runner at ₹1,449, against a ₹2,952 list price. In addition, the Innotech pot-and-pan drawer set costs ₹3,099.
Hettich kitchen fittings
The Magic Corner in iron grey measures 608 × 455 × 584 mm. It costs ₹18,899, against a ₹28,500 list price. Meanwhile, the Duo six-tier pantry unit with baskets costs ₹24,214, against ₹36,000. Bottle pull-outs cost ₹4,439 for the wire version and ₹6,502 for iron grey.
Hettich or Hafele?
Both are German and both are premium. On most fittings, the price gap is smaller than people expect. We carry both brands. Hafele tends to start lower on hinges and locks. Hettich, however, offers the deeper Sensys hinge range here. So if you are adding to a fitted kitchen, stay with the brand already on the doors. The mounting plates are not interchangeable.
What types of hinges does Hettich make?
Hettich makes ball-bearing butt hinges (₹320), Sensys soft-close hinges (₹898–₹1,349), Onsys hinges (₹450), and soft-close corner hinges (₹1,299). The Sensys range is the most popular for modular kitchens because it controls door closing and prevents slamming. Ball-bearing hinges are cheaper and work well in utility cabinets.
Are Hettich soft-close hinges worth the cost?
Yes, if you want quiet kitchens and longer hinge life. Soft-close hinges cost 2–3× more than standard hinges, but they absorb closing force hydraulically, which reduces wear and eliminates slamming noise. Carpenters recommend them for high-traffic modular kitchens and appliance cabinets where doors open and close daily.
What is Hettich’s Magic Corner, and does it fit my kitchen?
Magic Corner is a corner-opening system that swings out the cabinet interior when you open the door, making corner space usable. The iron grey version costs ₹18,899. It requires cabinet width of 608 mm and depth of 455 mm. If your kitchen cabinets are smaller or have a lazy-susan already, it may not fit.
Does Hettich have drawer channel systems?
Yes. The KA series organizes drawer compartments. KA 5632 costs ₹345 (basic), KA 4732 is ₹640 (soft-close), and Quadro V6 costs ₹1,449 (premium). Choose KA 5632 for simple organization, soft-close if drawers are heavy-use, and Quadro if you want multiple compartments with smooth operation.
