Concealed Door Closer for Modern Interiors

A visible door closer may not suit every interior. For example, modern homes and offices often use clean lines and minimal hardware.

The Dorset DC-65 CO concealed door closer solves this problem by keeping most of the mechanism hidden. Therefore, the door maintains a cleaner and more refined appearance.

This makes the DC-65 CO suitable for homes, office interiors and light commercial spaces. It works especially well where you want reliable automatic door closing without prominent hardware.

Smooth Hydraulic Closing with Adjustable Speed

A quality hydraulic door closer should control the door throughout the closing movement.

The Dorset DC-65 CO lets you adjust the main closing speed and final latching speed separately. As a result, you can set the door movement according to your installation needs.

This controlled action helps reduce sudden door movement. Moreover, it can reduce repeated impact on the door, frame and surrounding hardware.

The closer also includes a hold-open function. Therefore, you can keep the door open when required instead of allowing it to close automatically each time.

Door Closer for Doors Up to 65 Kg

Choosing a door closer according to door weight helps ensure better performance.

The Dorset DC-65 CO supports doors weighing up to 65 kg and measuring up to 950 mm wide. Therefore, it suits many medium-weight residential and commercial interior doors.

However, always check the weight and dimensions of your door before choosing a closer.

For lighter doors, a lower-capacity model may work better. On the other hand, larger and heavier doors may need a stronger closer such as the Dorset DC-85 CO or DC-120 CO.

Concealed Door Closer vs Standard Door Closer

The main difference between a concealed and standard closer is how the hardware appears after installation.

A concealed door closer keeps most of its mechanism hidden. Therefore, it works well in interiors where appearance is important.

In contrast, a standard arm door closer remains visible on the door. However, standard closers may offer easier access for installation and adjustment.

Your final choice should depend on the door weight, size, usage and design requirements.
